ImageJungle Privacy Policy
8Snippet Co., Ltd. (the “Company”) complies with the Personal Information Protection Act of the Republic of Korea and other applicable laws, and has established and discloses this Privacy Policy in order to process users’ personal information lawfully and manage it securely. This Policy applies to the ImageJungle website, applications, and related services operated by the Company (the “Service”).
Article 1 (Personal Information Collected and Methods of Collection)
(1) The Company collects the following personal information:
- At sign-up (required): The Company supports only social login (OAuth) using a Google or Apple account and does not collect or store any separate standalone account or password. When you use social login, the Company receives your email address and profile information (such as your name) from the relevant provider (for Apple sign-in, a private relay email address may be provided depending on your choice) and uses it to identify and authenticate you and to manage your membership.
- For paid transactions: transaction records (date and time of purchase, items purchased, payment amount) and information necessary to process refunds. Payment details such as credit card numbers are collected and processed directly by the payment processor (Paddle), and the Company does not store them.
- Automatically generated and collected during use of the Service: IP address, cookies, service usage records, access timestamps, and device and browser information
- For customer inquiries: email address and any personal information included in the inquiry
(2) The Company collects personal information through the Google/Apple social login (OAuth) authentication process, the website and application interfaces, email, and the payment process.
Article 2 (Purposes of Processing Personal Information)
The Company processes the personal information it collects for the following purposes. If the purpose of processing changes, the Company will take the necessary measures, such as obtaining separate consent, in accordance with applicable law.
- Member management: confirming intent to sign up, identifying and authenticating users, maintaining and managing membership, and delivering notices
- Service provision: providing images and prompts, managing the purchase and use of oz credits, and processing payments, settlements, and refunds
- Complaint handling: reviewing and resolving inquiries and complaints, communicating outcomes, and retaining records for dispute resolution
- Safe service operation: detecting and restricting violations of the Acceptable Use Policy, preventing fraudulent use, and performing statistical analysis to improve the Service
- Legal compliance: fulfilling obligations under applicable laws, including the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc.
Article 3 (Retention and Use Period of Personal Information)
(1) The Company processes and retains personal information within the retention and use period prescribed by law or agreed to by the user, and destroys the relevant personal information without delay when a user withdraws from membership.
(2) However, the following information is retained for the periods below, as required by applicable law:
- Records regarding contracts and withdrawal of offers: 5 years (Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc.)
- Records regarding payments and the supply of goods, etc.: 5 years (Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc.)
- Records regarding consumer complaints and dispute resolution: 3 years (Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc.)
- Records regarding labeling and advertising: 6 months (Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc.)
- Service access records (access logs): 3 months (Protection of Communications Secrets Act)
Article 4 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)
The Company processes users’ personal information only within the scope of the purposes set out in Article 2, and provides it to third parties only in the cases specified in Articles 17 and 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act, such as where the user has given prior consent or where there is a specific legal provision. The Company does not currently provide users’ personal information to any third parties.
Article 5 (Outsourcing of Personal Information Processing and Cross-Border Transfers)
(1) The Company outsources the following personal information processing tasks in order to provide the Service smoothly:
- Paddle.com Market Limited (United Kingdom): payment processing, refunds, and payment-related customer support
- Amazon Web Services: operation of service infrastructure and data storage
(2) In the course of social login (Google, Apple) and payment processing, personal information such as email addresses may be transferred abroad. Specifically, for member authentication, relevant information is transferred to Google LLC and Apple Inc. (located in the United States), and for payment processing, to the payment processor (located in the United Kingdom, etc.). The Company carries out the notice or consent procedures required for cross-border transfers under applicable law, and the personal information transferred is limited to what is necessary to perform the outsourced tasks.
(3) When entering into an outsourcing agreement, the Company specifies in the contract, in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act, matters such as compliance with instructions regarding personal information protection, restrictions on sub-outsourcing, and management and supervision of the service provider, and supervises whether the service provider processes personal information securely.
Article 6 (Procedures and Methods for Destroying Personal Information)
(1) When personal information becomes unnecessary — such as when the retention period expires or the purpose of processing has been achieved — the Company destroys it without delay.
(2) Information in electronic file form is permanently deleted using technical methods that prevent recovery, and paper documents are shredded or incinerated.
Article 7 (Rights of Data Subjects and How to Exercise Them)
(1) Users may at any time request that the Company allow access to, correct, delete, or suspend the processing of their personal information.
(2) These rights may be exercised through the account settings screen or by email (imagejungle@8snippet.com), and the Company will take the necessary measures without delay.
(3) These rights may be exercised through a legal representative or an authorized agent. In that case, a power of attorney as required by applicable law must be submitted.
(4) Requests for access to or suspension of processing of personal information may be restricted under applicable law, and deletion may not be requested where the personal information in question is specified as subject to collection under other laws.
Article 8 (Installation, Operation, and Refusal of Cookies and Other Automatic Collection Tools)
(1) The Company uses cookies to provide personalized services and to keep users logged in.
(2) Users may refuse to store cookies or delete stored cookies through their web browser settings. However, refusing cookies may make it difficult to use certain features of the Service that require login.
Article 9 (Measures to Ensure the Security of Personal Information)
The Company takes the following measures to ensure the security of personal information:
- Administrative measures: establishing and implementing an internal management plan, minimizing the number of staff handling personal information, and providing regular training
- Technical measures: managing and controlling access rights to personal information processing systems, encrypting important information such as passwords, and retaining access records and preventing their forgery or alteration
- Physical measures: controlling access to server rooms, data storage rooms, and similar facilities
Article 10 (Privacy Officer)
(1) The Company designates the following Privacy Officer to oversee personal information processing and to handle user complaints and provide remedies relating to personal information:

(2) Users may direct any privacy-related inquiries, complaints, or requests for remedies arising from their use of the Service to the Privacy Officer, and the Company will respond to and address them without delay.

Users who need to report or seek advice regarding a personal information infringement may contact the following organizations:

Article 12 (Changes to This Privacy Policy)
(1) If this Privacy Policy is amended (through additions, deletions, or modifications), the Company will give notice through an in-Service announcement or by email at least 7 days before the effective date (or at least 30 days in advance for changes that materially affect users’ rights).
(2) This Privacy Policy takes effect on July 20, 2026.
